Ignite protects your content during all phases of its lifecycle – publishing, targeting, delivery, receipt, and use. Multiple security barriers around your critical assets provide the most secure protection possible to help prevent unauthorized content viewing, duplicating or altering.
Four distinct layers of security surround every Ignite content package:
Physical Security – Ignite’s computing environment uses the most sophisticated security technologies available to create a highly secure, highly available, and predictable performance-oriented environment.
Application Security – Each Ignite customer has its own Ignite Content Delivery Solution database instance. Within a company, one or more Administrators can be given access to the Delivery Manager to perform specific tasks. Delivery Manager access is secured through a variety of mechanisms, including IP address restrictions and digital certificates.
User Security – Ignite provides for the ability to use digital certificates to authorize Administrators to access the Delivery Manager application. End users are also authenticated through registration for the purpose of receiving and accessing content. In addition Ignite’s security features provide for the ability to define chain-of-custody control – a highly customizable, secure, and auditable content control and approval process.
Content Security – Ignite’s multi-layered security uses a modular approach that provides for seamless integration with industry-standard and customer-provided digital rights management, encryption, digital signature, and secure token applications. By incorporating Ignite proprietary technology along with industry standards from Microsoft, BackWeb, VeriSign, and RSA, Ignite offers the most secure content delivery platform available.
